Director of Client Experience
She returned to school to earn her CIW certification as a webmaster in 2013, while also learning the programming language CSS. While still a student, Krista had the chance to put her newfound skills to work at Efferent Media, joining the company at its inception. Since joining Efferent, she’s been instrumental in helping the company grow and the client base expand.
Krista previously helped start “Greatest Around,” a community driven website which gave “Best of” awards to businesses in numerous different categories that operated in New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and North Carolina.
As Efferent’s lead developer, she oversees the details of site launches, executes changes, monitors website security and troubleshoots any problems clients may have with their websites.
Krista loves learning about all of Efferent’s clients and helping create websites that will strengthen their business. The thing she loves most about web development is that it’s ever-changing and there’s always something new to learn.
Krista is also a working mother of two girls, who love the outdoors as much as their mother does. She enjoys hiking and camping with her children, and has served as a Girls Scout leader.
She also gives back to her community by assisting local charities and helping veterans by stocking their shelves at the Veterans Administration Hospital. During the holiday season she regularly sends care packages to troops overseas.
Each new employee of Efferent Media is required to read the office copy of “Raving Fans: A Revolutionary Approach to Customer Service” by Kenneth H. Blanchard & Sheldon Bowles. This delightful book, written as a fable, stresses three key principles for business success: Integrity, Passion, and Over-Delivering. All of us at Efferent — including interns and part-timers — must read this book and absorb its message. It’s a pact with the company — and even with ourselves — that we will never settle for simply “satisfying” customers.
