Jefry began his career with Efferent Media as a talented intern before being hired full-time as a graphic designer. Prior to that he was finishing his senior project and final semester at Farmingdale State College where he earned a bachelors focused in Design and Visual Communications.
He feels like he’s been attached to a computer ever since he was a child. At age 12, Jefry was learning photoshop while volunteering with his church’s media team and designing their Facebook pages. By his teens he was designing the church website and their social media branding. This early introduction to digital design captivated him and would prove a lasting fascination into adulthood.
Jef says his biggest accomplishment so far is being the first in his family to attend and graduate from college. “I went in blind without much help, figuring out a lot of it on my own. It was a big feat for me,” he says. Jef is glad to be putting the graphic design skills he learned at school in a professional setting.

Jefry spends his free time volunteering with his church’s media department where he trains people of all ages and backgrounds in broadcast and video production. He also has been a volunteer collecting and distributing nonperishable food to families in need.
Outside of work and volunteering, Jef enjoys spending his time with his family and friends, catching up on his favorite Marvel and Star Wars shows, and practicing his music. He sings and plays keyboard for his church, and used to play the trumpet when he was in school.
If he wasn’t doing this Jef likes to think he’d be a cinematographer working in TV production because of his love of cameras and broadcasting. He’s passionate about graphic design and brings to it his strong belief in being kind to others and his positive outlook on life.
