Book a consultation
Forty-Five Minutes With the Person Who Would Run It.
Not a discovery call with a salesperson. We look at your market before we pick up.
What is the consultation?
Forty-five minutes on the phone or on video with the person who would actually run your account, not a closer who hands you off afterward. Before the call we look at your market on our own time: who is outranking you in the towns you serve, what you appear to be spending, and the demand nobody in your category has claimed. You get that whether or not anything comes of it.
- We do the reading first. You should not have to explain your own market to us for forty-five minutes.
- The person on the call runs the work. Not a salesperson who disappears after you sign.
- No deck. If we are not the right fit we will say so on the call.
Pick a time
Forty-Five Minutes, On Your Calendar.
Choose a slot and you will have a calendar invite with a video link inside a minute. If none of these work, use the form below and we will find one.
What we cover
Three Things, In Forty-Five Minutes.
Where you actually stand locally. Your position in the towns you serve, town by town, and who is holding the spots you want.
What your marketing is costing you. What is being spent, what it is returning, and the part that was never going to produce a call.
What we would do first. The one change we would make in the first thirty days, and what it would cost. You can take that and run it yourself.
What happens after you book
Between Now and the Call.
You pick a time. Here is what we do before it.
01 / 04
-
01
We confirm the time
Within the hour during business hours. A person.
-
02
We pull your position
Rankings and map pack in the towns you actually serve, not a national average.
Town by town, because that is how the map pack is decided
-
03
We look at what you are buying
If you give us read access we read the account. If not, we work from what is visible from outside, and we tell you which one we did.
-
04
We show up having done it
The call starts at your situation rather than at introductions.
FAQ
Questions We Hear Every Week
Straight answers. If something is not here, ask us on the audit call.
Is it a sales call?
It is a working call. We will tell you what we would do and what it would cost if you ask, and we will not run a deck at you. If we are not the right fit for what you need, we will say that on the call rather than after a proposal.
Who will I be talking to?
The person who would run your account, and usually Joe. Efferent is family owned and small enough that the people on the call are the people on the work.
How long is it?
Forty-five minutes. We hold to it, and you pick the slot.
Do I have to give you access to my ad accounts?
No. Read access makes the call sharper and we will say so, but we can work from what is publicly visible and we will tell you which we did. Read access is view-only: we can see campaigns, spend and search terms, and we cannot edit anything or move money. Your account stays yours throughout, which is how we work with clients too.
What if I am already with an agency?
That is usually when this is most useful. You will hear what is working and what is not in your own numbers, before you decide anything, and you do not have to move anything to get it. Plenty of people use it as a second opinion on a plan they already have.
What if I would rather not talk yet?
Then take the written audit instead. It covers your local competitors, where your ad spend is leaking and the demand nobody in your category has claimed, it lands within 48 hours, and there is no obligation to take a call afterward. It is at efferentmedia.com/growth-audit.
