Strategy & Advisory
A senior strategist looking at the whole business, not just one campaign.
What we do
Strategy, paid media, SEO, websites and automation working together to get you more customers. Fewer meetings. Clearer decisions. Real results.
What services does Efferent Media offer?
Nine, and they are run by one team rather than five vendors: paid ad management, SEO, local SEO, websites and platforms, paid social, content, AI and automation, Local Service Ads, and programmatic and streaming. On most engagements three or four of them are running at once, and budget moves between them based on what is producing this month.
Why one team
Most businesses end up with an SEO company, an ads company, a web company and a social company, none of whom talk to each other. Every one of them reports a number that looks good in isolation, and not one of them can tell you which channel produced the job you actually booked.
When the same team runs all of it, the question stops being which vendor is right and starts being where the next dollar goes.
How we sequence it
The order matters more than the list. This is the sequence almost every engagement follows.
01 / 05
01
Call attribution, form attribution, CRM handoff. Not a service anyone sells, and the reason every number after this point is trustworthy or is not.
Always first, on every engagement
02
Paid search and local search. People actively looking for what you do, in the towns you serve. Fastest to prove, easiest to measure.
03
Landing pages and the site. A campaign pointed at a slow, vague page is a tax you pay on every click.
04
Offline conversions from the CRM back to the ad platform, so bidding learns what a real customer looks like in your business.
This is where cost per job usually falls
05
Content, paid social, streaming. Worth buying once the capture side is working, and expensive theater before that.
What we measure
The two figures below are the argument. Left column is what most reporting shows. Right column is what tells you whether to spend more.
What gets reported against what decides anything
INTERFACE| What gets reported | What decides anything |
|---|---|
| Impressions | Qualified calls |
| Clicks | Forms with a real problem in them |
| Click-through rate | Cost per qualified lead |
| Keyword rankings | Booked jobs |
| Sessions | Revenue you can trace back |
The chain a dollar travels

FAQ
Straight answers. If something is not here, ask us on the audit call.
No. Most engagements run three or four. We tell you which, and why, on the audit call.
Yes. Most of our work starts that way. We read the account before changing anything.
We will tell you straight on the call whether the numbers work. Below a certain media budget, paid search cannot generate enough conversion volume to bid on, and we will say so rather than take the money.
By what produced qualified leads and booked jobs last month, read from the CRM. Not by what each service line is contracted to defend.
You do. Everything is built in your name on your billing, and you keep it if we part ways.
Monthly reporting at a minimum, and direct access to the people running the account the rest of the time.
